What about books which happen to be correspondence, but which are not of a biographical nature? For instance, Music in the Western World : A History in Documents is made up largely of correspondence, but there is very little biographical information in it -- prossibly less biography than in a typical history book. Certainly if someone interested in it would be browsing in music history, not biography. There are probably much better examples out there -- works which collect a correspondence about a particular subject for the sake of looking at the discussion, not for looking at the people making it.

Is it necessary to state that correspondence goes here? If a work containing correspondence is biographical, then it clearly goes here without saying so. And if a work containing correspondence is not biographical, then I'm not sure this is where it belongs.

Vagina: A New Biography is not as scandalous at the title appears. The book came about because of a health issues the author, Naomi Wolf, faced. Once she had healed from her surgery, Wolf vowed to learn more about the vagina and its place in history in an effort to help other women. She learned that all women have their own unique neural pathways in the vagina. This means that every woman has the ability to orgasm and in different areas. The womens' magazines never mention

Floating Shelves

Floating Shelves

I'm looking to fit three 120cm Oak floating shelves in an alcove. I know they are widely available for sale in retailers like B&Q, Wickes, Ikea, etc, but I was wondering who sells the best ones in terms of qualtiy and sturdyness. The reason why I ask is I helped a friend fit one purchased from Argos not long ago, and although it was easy to put up, the bracket and the shelf did not tighten properly and the shelf was slanted and leaning forward. I had to fit some brackets underneath the shelf to get it level and sturdy, which defeated the object of it being floating.
Those of you that have floating shelves, where did you purchase yours from? Thanks

Perhaps the most unconventional and literally breathtaking father-son story you'll ever read, My Friend Leonard pulls you immediately and deeply into a relationship as unusual as it is inspiring. The father figure is Leonard, the high-living, recovering coke addict "West Coast Director of a large Italian-American finance firm" (read: mobster) who helped to keep James Frey clean in A Million Little Pieces. The son is, of course, James, damaged perhaps beyond repair by years of crack and alcohol addiction-and by more than a few cruel tricks of fate. James embarks on his post-rehab existence in Chicago emotionally devastated, broke, and afraid to get close to other people. But then Leonard comes back into his life, and everything changes. Leon

One bookcase design is called the country kitchen bookcase, where the old fashion accent can be achieved by painting the bookcase with dusty sage or flat finish. Its weathered look may be displayed through the application of feathery, uneven layers of semi-glossy sage in light color. Another option is referred to as the elegant modern bookcase that could be accomplished through an ingenious paint job.Aside from that, the funky entertainment bookcase is also a great bookcase design where an old entertainment center is transformed into a dramatic bookshelf simply by extensive polishing and painting of moody colors like navy and cobalt blues all over the shelves. Finally, the tall bridge design is represented by a book storage system with an architectural accent by building tall bookcases matched with basic bridging style

Paterno shuffled back into his Happy Valley home a saddened man. That image was one of the last times the public saw Paterno before he died in January from lung cancer.
However, on Tuesday, that indescribable voice was reborn once again in Posnanski's biography.
Critics and diehard fans such as Kathy Weidner put copies copy on hold before the book's release. By lunchtime, Weidner scurried over to Barnes & Noble in Camp Hill, eager to lose herself in the pages.
"I've been following the scandal," Weidner said. "I just went through all the newspaper articles that I have - tear up at times. Sad."
Eighty-five years of Paterno's life are compiled into 360 pages. Posnanski's book was reviewed nationwide. The New York Times called his work "breezy and largely sympathetic." Other national reviews touted the way Posnanski chronicled the rise and fall of the football coaching legend.
